In October of 2002, I decided that I wanted a consultation to find
out if Sisterlocks was for me. The closest consultant was in
Columbus, Ohio. I called and left a message. To my delight
Roxanne told me that Pat had moved and was now living in
Cincinnati and gave me her number. I was so elated that this
woman whose hair journey I had internalized was within my reach
and I could talk with her in person and best of all touch her hair!! I
scheduled a consultation and it was the beginning of a journey
that has developed into a life changing adventure. I scheduled my
locking appointment for early December because our schedules
were in conflict for the next couple of weeks We got started on
December 5th and by December 8th I had a head full of
Sisterlocks TM.
There was no turning back. I couldn't be happier. Water is no
longer the enemy, I was pumped from the consultation and knew
that I was not the only sistah looking for a non-chemical solution
to her hair woes. I decided to take the consultant class the
second week in December being offered in Detroit. I completed
the class and haven't looked back. I'm rocking great locks, and
using my skills and talent to edify of the African Americans feel
good about their hair..enjoy the pictures. You will see that the
locks take advantage of your natural hair type and texture and my
locs amaze me more each day. The bonus is I am a trained
Sisterlock consultant and soon to be the first Certified Sisterlock
Consultant in Northern Kentucky. Best of all is that I have found a
wonderful new sister friend that I wouldn't have found if it weren't
for Sisterlocks TM.
Pat and I have been working side by side since I completed my
training. We know that the future has a world of opportunities for
us in the Ohio-Indiana-Kentucky tri-state are and we are getting
ready for the Sisterlocks TM/Natural Hair explosion that's coming!!
